I’m a musician and bought this to wear for a concert performance. I need to be able to move my arms while playing, and the off-the-shoulder design actually allowed for enough movement, which surprised me. The 3/4 sleeves stayed put and didn't ride up. It looks very professional on stage under the lights. The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is that the train, while pretty, is a bit of a hazard when you're walking around backstage with equipment, so I had to be careful. But for the audience view? It looked absolutely spectacular and totally professional.

For a winter formal, though, it was spot on. Just make sure you have a good strapless bra because the neckline is wide.

The zipper was a little sticky at first, but some wax fixed it right up. It’s comfortable, classy, and I got quite a few compliments on the color.

Ordered this for my mom for her 50th birthday bash. She wanted something sophisticated but not "old lady" looking. She looked absolutely radiant! The A-line shape is super flattering on her curves, and she loved that the sleeves covered her elbows. We did have to take it to a tailor to nip in the waist slightly for a perfect fit, but she said it was incredibly comfortable to wear for five hours straight. The satin photographs really well, too—she stood out in all the family pictures. It’s a very dignified, elegant piece that doesn't try too hard.

Found this while looking for a dress for a friend's formal rehearsal dinner. I wasn't sure about the satin at first, thinking it might look cheap, but the texture is actually really smooth and buttery. The bow detail on the waist gives you a really nice silhouette. It arrived pretty wrinkled, which is expected, so give yourself time to get it pressed professionally or use a good steamer. Once the wrinkles were gone, it draped beautifully. It’s a simple design, but sometimes simple is better. I felt very chic without overshadowing the bride, which was the goal!
