I am the mother of the groom. Age 66. It's a balance to find a "mature" dress. Not cut too low. Not a prom type dress. And definitely not too geriatric looking. This dress is lovely.

Sizing Tip: I'm 5'8" (173cm) and 145 lbs (66kg), typically a UK 8, and I found the UK 8 to fit perfectly. It's true to size, but if you're deciding between sizes (e.g., 6 and 8), size up if you have broader shoulders or a larger bust, as the bodice has minimal stretch. The color is even more vibrant in person!
